How long should it take for your boat to go to factory and be returned to you (waiting)
That's the only real issue with War Eagle is the turnaround time for new builds or repairs. I guess it could be taken in the context that it's a compliment to the quality of the boat?:dono
Can't rush it... The norm for a factory tin boat is usually 6-8 weeks promised time, but this time of year they are probably cranking em out at a high rate to stock up dealers before "fishing" season starts. I factored in an extra two weeks on my xpress build time, but they were a day or two over 8 weeks. It can't hurt to call and check on the progress of the build. I know my dealer was walking me through it, so that helped ease my stress. A phone call may help you sleep better at night!
when I ordered it and it took way longer than what they stated to get my boat made the way I or the boat. But now that I sent it back for repairs on November the 26 I think it's been long enough to get it back to me
Sounds to me like its time to make a phone call
The squeaking wheel gets the grease.
I called talked to the owner didn't get a real answer he said it should be done next week maybe but he couldn't give me a date when it would be returned to me I will call him again Monday
Bassgas, what happened to your boat?
I agree, it should be done by now... Call until they get sick of you. Be polite and don't threaten, but make your project be the first one he thinks about in the morning and the last one he check before he leaves.
It was porpoising when you trimmed it up and they were going to weld a bead on the bottom and I had a few other issues like auto bilge not working lever hard to operate on live well bushing in front pedestal loose little things like that main thing was to get ride to smooth out
I have an old (1987) Alumaweld which I guess is now Express. Only way to stop porpoising was to add weight to front of boat. i moved my trolling motor battries up front and problem was solved. It also lowered the front allowing me to fish in the wind without being blown around.:ThumbsUp
War eagle is one of the worse customer severs I every seen. I know a guy that went 6 mo on a boat repair. Good Luck I will never own a War Eagle and I know them
