Boat went up on a stump and came down on my LSS-2 transducer, peeling the wire casing back. Found some flexible epoxy and packed in around the wires. Does anyone know of a way to keep this from happening in the future?

Forgot to mention that sidescan and downscan were still working fine when I left the lake.

You can reverse transducer. Then, go into structure menu and flip right to left. At least the wire won't be the 1st to hit. <*)}}}><
