Made the plunge for 6 twelve footers! I hope these rods are half of what Ed is! I like his story also! Come on Saturday. I can't wait to put my hands on a fishing rod from North Carolina!!! Maybe bring some heat with them.

They are everything and more ! I bought a couple of 9 footers from Mr. Duke last year and I wouldn't fish with nothing but Southern Crappie Rods from now on . The graphite action is great and they are though .
Why not 14s?
He simply don't have any! I think he said till June 10th. Don't matter I will just get six of them also. I like to give people like him money and I don't think he hurt me!!
I just ordered two 12 footers myself. Great valentines gift for Pool13_Pam! I'm confident she'll just be giddy...
I just got my rods today! Super excited these rods look like a million dollars! Put a size 20 real on them and they balanced perfect. Absolutely no front end weight!! I like he feel of them! The reels got shipped today! Weather here sucks but it won't be long! Do any of you folks know how much heavier the 16 footers are than the twelves?
Got mine as well. I mean Pam got her rods today. Very nice! Didn't get much time with them as we were running out the door to make our way toward Rend. No fishing, just hanging out.
What size did you get Jeff?
i just recently bought 6-14'scr from MR Ed. He seems like the kinda person that would do anything for his fellow fishermen than try to make an extra dollar off of someone. getting to try my poles out in the morning but just looking and feeling them i can tell i am going to love them. they have a really good backbone and the tips seem sensitive enough to feel the lightest bite. Also i very good looking rod!
Let us know how you love them.........PLEASE......or what you don't! Best of luck.
I bought 1-12'er off him to see how I like them before buying any more. He is a very nice guy and is sending me 2-12'ers for our bucket raffle at the Illinois Crappie Camp. Thanks Ed, your a true gentleman.
I started with 12's. They feel heavier than the PST. I'll weigh them when I get home. If the tips last better than the pst tips, I'll be happy. Although, ED sells tips for $5 less than Grizzlyjig sells pst tips.
Let us know he told me that they weigh .42
My six 14' pst rods are like a fine lady, you take care of them and they treat you right:biggrin
You will love the Southern Crappie rods. They may be a little heavier than my BNMs but are tough as nails and the price is good. Ed is as good of a guy as you will ever talk to.
