I use the Shell station on MacArthur drive in North Little Rock. They normally have 100% gas. 4123 MacArthur Drive, North Little Rock

I just looked it up, I actually use the Phillips 66 on MacArthur Drive more now because it's easier to get in and out of their lot with the way the roads are set up. 5421 MacArthur Drive.
thanks again, am headed that way in a few to fill er up. Paul
I would be careful getting the premium non ethanol, I put some in my boat 2 different times from 2 different stations and got bad gas both times. I think because premium is more expensive and non ethanol maybe even more so, that they don't sell as much and it and it sets in the tanks too long and starts to go bad. It's my understanding that gasoline starts to degrade significantly after about 30 days.
hmmm, thanks for the heads up. certainly would not have thought about that, but it makes good sense. will just use the cheaper blend then. I have been using premium ethanol, but decided I better change to non-ethanol. does it matter in this day and age with 4 stroke motors and fuel lines?
MD, do you happen to know Ricky Platt? played football with him at State College of Arkansas (now UCA), back in the late 60's and early 70's (I am originally from Newport).
I know some Platt's from Batesville but not Ricky.
Ethanol-free gas stations in the U.S. and Canada
You can find regular gas anywhere in the country here.
dude, thanks. you have replied to 3 threads I have been on today. I am going to have to pay you a retainer. check is in the mail - probably forgot the stamp though
there is a main street shell on main street NLR that has non ethonal gas , south of NLR high school , i believe its 14th and main
If near Lake Conway, there is one off of Hwy 64, north of the lake. It is called the Hwy 64 Store. Good original name.
I know Rick--lives up the street from me. He was a good athlete. His mom and dad were fine folks.
tell him that Paul McGinnis from Newport and UCA tells him hi.
thanks for all the info on the gas all, it will save me several hundred not having to get new gas lines and a carb clean up
Typicall your high octane grades of 93 will not contain ethanol. I treat all of my fuel with a fuel stabiler called sea foam. I used to have to put carb kits in my outboards before discovering sea foam and now I never have fuel issues in any of my outboards or other small engines.
thanks, re, I bought a product called Star Tron Enzyme Fuel Treatment (Starbite) from Bass Pro that says it cures ethanol fuel problems. Any input on this product???
I guess I have been lucky??? I put Stabil in about every other tank in my 4 stroke, maybe every third tank. I've never had any issues with fuel.
My 2 stroke, I did put some seafoam in it this year during duck season, but that's the first time I've ever put any additive in it.
Bill, what is it I should be seeing by using gasoline with ethanol added?? What motor issues or fuel line issues, etc??
In the older models it's the fuel lines deteriorating inside. If you burn through your fuel and don't store it for extended periods, the ethanol runs fine in the newer models with Ethanol resistant lines. It's the long term storage that's the worst thing to do. Lots of guys duck hunt and put their engines up until next season. That's a big No No with ethanol. Course I love it when they do that. Cha Ching!!! [emoji6]
