Let Speck know and he can move the non fishing to the off topic if you like.
On second thought, I miss all the fishing reports period, use to get lots of them, now not so much, to many people think if they tell where they caught fish it will be over ran with fishermen,,, so be it, but at least the report could state, lake, numbers, bait type, how caught, everything but the tree west of the U highway bridge, which is off limits to fishing till I am done with it....
Fishing report. Went yesterday to Cedar ridge, Stockton Lake. Early lake was like a mirror, by the time I quit trolling motor coming out of the water. First two place I went was slow. Catch a few when shad would move through. Almost waited too long to go to my last stop. Found a big wad of shad that would hold still in next to a bluff in 44 foot of water. Used a Black/chart jig !/8 oz. jig head tipped with a crappie nibble. Slow to say the least. Pulled out the trusty old crappie spoons and whacked the dickens out of them. Had probly 30+ short fish and 16 keepers between 11 and 12 inches. Fished with my buddy and realized we should have been there sooner. Got too rough and left with fish biting. Water temperature was 37 degrees and lake level 866.39last report I heard). Key to fishing Stockton right now is finding the shad.

Pretty much everything I'm seeing on the Main Fishing page has something to do with fishing . I try to give a wide berth, but I don't catch everything. Please let me know, via pm if you wish, if there is something that needs to be moved and I'll be happy to look at it.
This time of year things don't scroll off the first page very fast. When there are reports coming in that first page might fill up every few days, so the older stuff goes away. No complaints from me regarding where anyone puts up posts.
I haven't been fishing since last September! I have no fishing report, other than I want to go fishing!!!!
Really does not matter to me just wondered why it changed? But I did get more comments than usual:biggrin
