We will have the Fruit Jar there the 14th, should be some fesh caught, lot warmer this year than last year. Safe travels, if you are around Friday the 13th swing by BaitsN Thangs and introduce yourself, we will be having an early registration and some grills fired up cooking some grub. usually a pretty good crown on Friday night. More than welcome to fish with us Saturday in the tourney if you like, all our tourneys are open so all are welcome.
It is the Dead Sea down there right now according to some regulars that have been fishing there. It won't be long tho.
should pick up after the 21st is what I hear. Washington is bad for catching dinks until early March. Might pick up a few 1lbs. by then though.

Are there any minnow farms around Washington Lake to buy minnows by the lb or is bait and things the only place to get them?
Brian, you can buy from Pam at Roys store or Taylor's Bait Shop in Swiftwater. I usually buy from Roys. She had some good eatin before I hit the lake in the morning.Quote:

Looks like old man winter and mother nature have cancel our trip down to see you guys, but we have rescheduled things for next month.
We had a great tourney, and the weather was gorgeous. Lots of fish were caught and a few really nice ones. It ain't long now guys!!! A handful of warm nights to let the water temp maintain itself and ITS ON!!!!!
Calling for 4-6" of snow from today thru tomorrow..stuck for now but going to install new spider rigging rod holder on th side of boat today..oh and smoke a 10lb brisket😁😂
Headed down March 1-5 hoping her a few warm days right before and while I'm there.
Thats all you can do this time of the year, we were there from Sunday till Saturday last week and had 3 very nice days on the lake, couple of manageable days, and couple of bad days. Thats spring time fishing. Safe travels and have fun!!Quote:

My buddy has never caught a crappie he's 19 fresh out of school working on towboat. Where excited to meet everyone and fish. Eat a few and have good time rest be a bonus!
I may be over there one day that week, just depends. I live over at Grenada so I dont get over there often, hard to leave 3 of the Big 4 within 45 minutes of my house and drive 2.5 hours to get there.
