Nano-Fil is a fused line...many long fibers are fused together instead of being braided, this results in low stretch, sensitivity, and Great casting ability. The downside to this line, like other fused lines, are poor abrasion resistance (like Cache 22 said), and line strength is normally exact and rated at the knot.

I used Nano-fill for 2 years on a casting pole....now I have quit using it because the New Braids out will cast just as far, and don't have the downsides.
IMHO, it would be better to spend your money on a Good, solid core, 8 strand braid...you get a soft, round, EVEN SMALLER size, that casts just as well, is stronger, and handles better.
