The Oklahoma City Tackle, Hunting and Boat show is this Fri, Sat and Sun at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds. We'll have the Todd Huckabee signature series rods in the booth. You gotta see the new red Pulling rod. Todd and Barry Morrow will be giving seminars all three days. The booth is next to the bass tank. Come by and tell us your crappie catching success stories.

Darrell, you'll really like how that light bite feels with your Huckabees! Ken, you need to take him up on a trip when you have time. Kaw is currently King of the northern Oklahoma Lakes when it comes to Crappie. I have a feeling you'd be spending a while marking areas if you take the Skeeter. I sure was impressed how she took the chop on Oologah on yesterday.
Got to use my Huckabee that I got from IkenI last Sat. I'm impressed. Planning on getting with Starfish after camp for another one
Starfish I have an Idea, how do we build a rod that keeps score? Like have a rod that keeps track of how many fish its caught, how many misses its had, for that day and the poles career. What do you think?
It would depend on who is using the rod in my opinion. It would also depend on what line and size of jig as well.Quote:

I can see the TV show and the Tournament possiblities Brian, but would a Rod maker be brave enough to do head to head competition as the loser could lose a lot of business.The number fo missed a rod had would be soley dependent on who is using it.
Also had an idea for a fishing rod for the winter with a heated handle LOL
The idea for the rod that keeps score came from the fly swatter from "Skymall" that keep track of your swats and kills. LOL EB

Holy cow! New products. New TV series. It's all just overwhelming. But I like these ideas. As far as heated handle...maybe attaching a hand warmer to the cork???
Little on/off switch at handle butt and use a watch battery. Run a series of wires up and down the handle. Bingo!

Yep EB, I know what you mean, same jigs same rigs and cant buy a bite, that crap make a man go crazy!!
