OOPS!!!

Recently we bought a new fishing rig - not brand new but new to us. I love the four stroke Yamaha - it sure is easy on gas. On a trip this past Monday - it took us about 3 hours to locate fish - once we found them we fished around the same location for about 2 or 3 more hours. During that time, we used a different plug for the live well which didn't have an overflow pipe - the live well kept running on manual - not good. Motored up and hammered down and wouldn't plane out - you guessed it the boat was full of water from the live well. Now on to the fishing story, we caught double limits both Monday and today - fish were on the bottom in 9-14 fow.

My buddy just sold one of those boats, his had a 50 horse 2 stroke on it. I think fishing in my boat with a 4 stroke ruined him. :highfive

GREAT CATCH, and those are great boats my son had the 165 with a 60 Yamaha 4 stroke he loved it but sold it to get a 175 and hasn't found one yet .

I appreciate the compliments about the boat, we are sure enjoying it. Fished again yesterday, didn't manage double limits but we did get twenty good eaters and it was a beautiful day to be on the water. Sorry, forgot to make pictures.

Congrats Richard! Is that a HP170? Looks like my rig. I've had mine a long time and no complaints at all.
