Pretty sweet boats. 115 four stroke on a RT188 would make a great rig.
If I were to get a new aluminium rig I would seriously consider those. I don't know if id like the center rod box, id prob take the rod tubes out and stuff more rods with rod socks. Considering today's boat prices they are a good deal especially when compared to Xpress, and prob more bang for your buck compared to Tracker Pro Team 190
I'm thinking a RT188C. It has the three seat mounts across the front deck if you want to spider rig.
Check it out, nice boat either way. Oughta fly with the 115.
The RT188 and RT178 are available with 3 across bow pedestals as an option in 2015.Quote:

Did you have it bought before the sports show? They had one up there that was already sold before they took it up to the show. That red is my favorite of the color choices. It looks great with the metal flake consoles. It will make you a great boat and the gas mileage is crazy with the four stroke. Kevin Braun has a black one and is liking it more every time he gets out in it.
I called Pete the day before the show and told I wanted it so he put a sold sign on it at the show. The red one that was up there is mine.
Sweet boat. It has a few of mine and Capt. Hook's finger prints on it:yikes.
I think I will like it can't to go pick it up and get on the water and see it will catch fish.
Sure you will have no issues filling them big live wells.

I got the set back plate. I haven't had it out yet they just called and said it would be ready for me to pick up Saturday.
Thanks I think it will be great boat. I was looking at an Xpress x19 before this one which was a lot more after up grades that the Ranger didn't need. I lost some HP going with the Ranger but some of the reviews on the Xpress was not good. The wife liked the price tag on the Ranger a lot better then the Xpress.
Picked up the new boat yesterday took it out for a couple hour to start the break in should have taken some fishing stuff with me some crappie were being caught in the Bucksaw area
I seen your pic that Pete posted on bassboatcentral. You will have to join over there. Lots of good info about the RT188 on the Tin Boats section. Once again congrats.
