Kaw Trip Mon, Tue and Wed
Got up early Mon. morning arrived at Sarge Boat ramp at daybreak. Tried some piles on South side of Sarge that a local had told us about no joy. So ran up to Washunga bridge ran into our local buddy so started fishing with him and his party caught a couple they had 39 in the boat when we got there. They wanted to try another place so we stayed. Caught several but nothing we wanted to keep. Got a call from our friend and he said come on down to the Sarge rip rap so headed down there they were anchored up so we eased up to them and the bite was on there were times when all five of us had fish on. They finished a limit and left we stayed until 1530 bite had slowed by then but still some. We did not keep anything under 10.5 and had 50 must have caught a hundred fish. No real big fish biggest was around 12 but just good quality fish.
Tue. went to the Sarge pile again at day break same deal bite was hot and heavy, lite wind, keeping only 10.5 and over, had 52 on clicker when the wind came up and made it hard to hold on the spot. The bite had slowed so we went looking at other places found a few fish here and there. Nothing spectacular decided to call it a day and clean fish. Cleaned 56,
Wed Morning cold wind out of North so changed tactic went to Washunga found pile on South out of wind was good catching until 0900 then slowed to okay catching.
