Thanks for the report.
Sounds like my kind of luck. Hopefully better days will come.
Went about a week ago no dice either!
Were you fishing the heated dock?
Started in the heated dock then moved outside from shore along sw corner
Yes, I've heard it's been very slow there for some reason. I've been wanting to take a boat out there and see if I couldn't find some somewhere else, but having to get the boat inspected makes it difficult as I like to get there at sunup. Guess, I will just have to be patient and hit the water when the store opens and give it a shot.
Buddy of mine put a camera down in the dock in each corner and found stacks and stacks of crappie but couldn't get one to bite. They're in there, and eventually they'll get hungry. Just hope I'm there when they do :)
I used my camera at Melvern right before the new year and the crappie were just stacked in there. People couldn't believe how many were down there. I use mine at Marion occasionally, and yes, seems like they are always around.
Any of you guys that have cameras have a video of it? there was a guy that came down there Monday morning and said that someone had been in there that morning with a camera, and my wife is interested in seeing video. I've looked on youtube and cant find any videos.
You know, I know there is a way to do it, but i haven't done it yet. Next time I go, I will try and take mine and shoot a cell phone video if nothing else. It is truly amazing what you see with it in some places.
That would be awesome maybe then I can convince her that I need one.
