Dad gum battery was dead on the big motor. Now my arse is on my shoulders. Dead battery is worse than a bad day of fishing. Got my crappie sticker on my yota though.
Attachment 186726 Got my sticker on......
That's a good looking Tundra.
Thnx JW.....my wife hates it. She ask me if they gave me a good deal because it was ugly. Bawhahaha between her and my dead battery I'm not pleasant to be round.
Tell her the beauty is in the function and the longevity of it. Ha. Yeah dead batteries suck. I had one in December. I keep jumper cables in the boat now just to save a trip.
Attachment 186734 Just picked up a compact jump box.....
Tiny isn't it. Let us know how it works
Nothing like hearing nothing when you turn the key....especially when your heart is already out there catching slabs! Lol. I keep some jumper cables in my boat as well and have had to jump battery a few times.
Got out late afternoon yesterday and only picked up six...... Marked hundreds but they would not bite. Headed out first thing this AM, gonna give em a shot.
Good luck Bama S . Looks like a good day weather wise.
Attachment 18703716" er. We had four 15"
That is a pig dude!! Congrats. You look a little more bundled up these days from the last time we were out. Lol
That is a nice one.
That's nice, I fished Neely Henry today and only managed a boat load of dinks.
Bout fifteen today. 10-15 " fish
Headed back out in the wind again today. Hope they bite in front of this weather. Ready to feel that thump.
I am ready myself. I am having fishing withdraws.
When you headed back out, JW?
Hopefully a week from this coming Friday. This Friday is 100% rain from what I have read. You have been on some good fish.
Yep, not much quantity but alota quality.....
Saves you from having to throw back dinks.
Yea it does..... Also you get a lot more meat when you Feelay them. I would rather have ten 12-15" fish than 40 9" ones.
I don't keep anything under 10"s, just not enough meat on the 9" ones.
How right you are, I only keep under 10 when I'm guiding and the clients want them...... I wish we would bump up to a ten " limit.
I am all for that myself. I think it would help the fisheries here in Bama allot.
Attachment 187308 Nice day
Looks like that were biting good ahead of the front moving in.
