Really depends on the type of fishing you do. If you do more trolling/long lining/spider rigging than brush piles, I suggest the Terrova with I Pilot for controlling your speed and course/track. The Terrova is electric steer so the head responds a little slower than a cable steer one which can be frustrating when trying to fish a brush pile or shoot docks IMO, but you get use to it. Cruise control and anchor lock are nice features with the I Pilot as well. Well worth the $$, makes fishing a lot easier in most cases.
I went ahead and got the riptide 80# with ipilot, and advanced autopilot. Comes with a remote and I went ahead and got the electric foot pedal.
I think since my time on the water is limited I should have the best tool for the job for a quality trip when I go!
Worth every penny!!!!
Terrova is best money I have spent for Crappie fishing.
best thing I ever bought
I love my Ipilot. It makes trolling so much easier. Plus you get to wear a cool remote around you neck and it makes you look like Favor Flav the rapper. LOL.

I agree with everyone else. I installed the terrova 2 years ago and it was well worth the money. Keep an eye on the minnkota website, they frequently have rebates this time of year.
Yes and Terrova is the best for an angler that may want to use every type of crappie fishing thinkable.
Best investment for any crappie boat.
Had an earlier model with auto-pilot and the electric foot control but never could work it as good as I could a standard cable control motor. Even bought the remote hand control and liked it even less but I actually don't do a lot of long line trolling. I did really like the concept though. Have there been improvements made on the foot control to make them more comparable with the ease of cable steer?
1000% yes. I will take it one step further. After personally testing the ulterra that thing is boss. If you have a moor now it may be hard to justify but for starting fresh that is the way to go. If you run birds go ahead and get the link too.
I bought the PD V2 with I-pilot. Mine doesnt have a foot petal but I dont think I need it anyway. I troll, spider rig, and fish in timber just fine using only the remote.
I just saw the ad on the Ulterra on TV,
That is BA! Now I am pondering returning my riptide and getting one of those!
I would hold off on the Ulterra, they have a recall on them.
Best money you will spend on yo boat
