How do you spider riggers put your name and address on your rods?
Yes, I use those little address labels I get from my insurance company every year and put them on every rod I own. I wrap the labels with clear packing tape to weather proof it.

what he said
return address stickers.
Whats with this ????
I wondered the same thing... Must be a Mo law ?
I used my wife's label maker and just put my conservation # on my rods.
Same here- I tried without a tape covering and they only lasted a trip or two.
If using more than three rods at once, you have to have ID or conservation # on rods. It seems silly, but it is having to do with trot lines having more than 33 hooks or the like and Conservation agents knowing who owns the lines.
you southern non fish catching gubers yes it is a Mo. the great state of Missouri thang..... reason is our big fish sometimes swallow our rod and reel and this way when we filet them we can return the rod to the rightful owner..... trudat
Beagle, u da man!!!~
Ole Speck is got it right. I get them from the Rocky Mountain Elk federation and different places. Always just save them back for when I get new rods. Piece of clear tape over the top and you are good to go.
Address labels are a great idea. Do you need your conservation number on them too.
No the name and address is good enough. You can actually use just your conservation number if that is easier.
OSS said I have to put them on mine so I can remember where my house is at.
I'm with ya dfar! Like and old dog, ramble all over during the day but ya go back to the same place they feed ya every night!
Yep just got two sent back to me via mail.
I've been doing it prior to the law😜
rip n lips taught me. Use clear packing tape to cover the sticker, sealed it right up. I figure when the fish drags my pole off the boat, they might mail it back to me....yea right....

How do I get my insurance company to put my conservation number on those labels??
I lost a crankin rod an a linecounter reel to big Cat I guess. I haven't got it back so far. This was on LOZ.
I had some copper tags made that they use on traps. They work good.
