Be very quiet. Else you might spook a deer and make it walk out. Then I'd have to shoot it. Then is have to clean it. Then I'd have to post pics of fried tenderloin. And you don't want that to happen now do you?

Splash one red fox.
Wannabe...
While my barrel cools, how about a red fox story?
In 1980, my Dad bought me my first deer rifle. A .270 Remington BDL with a 3x9 red field wide field scope. We sighted it in that week and I headed to the woods that first Saturday. Out steps a Red fox, bang. Ded fox. All the guys at the camp oohed and ahhed at it, many saying they didn't think we had those. Maybe so, maybe they were just playing along to pump up the kid at the camp.
Anyway, that gun is currently 500 yards from me with my youngest son still hunting.
The fox I just killed was with a T/C encore 308 with a bushnell elite 4200 2.5-10. It was the last deer gun my dad bought me.
Anyhow, thanks BK. I miss you.
