What model was the 6.4 and what kinda problems?
remember 95% of chevy trucks are still on the road. The other 5% made it home. Read it here last week or so.
I think you are probably talking about the 5.4 Triton and it was mainly in year models 04-07. How do I know you ask??? Well, I got to find out first hand of the problems and ended up with a new motor about a month ago. I am in no way a motor head but have learned enough since this little fiasco that I read up on it......just wish I would have know before hand!!Quote:

I now have enough $$$ in this truck that I will be keeping it for a long while and just hope nothing else fails because a week after I got the motor in it the alternator went out!!! So if any of you out there have the 5.4 from 04-07.....DO NOT IGNORE THE TICKING!!!

2008, stuck injector, pistons burnt, no compression after $7500 worth of other broke parts fixed. Prob would have run like new but a chance I wasn't gonna take for the moneyQuote:
