All that sounds familiar.
I hear a echo
I have heard all of those in my childhood. Another thing my mom always asked me was "Am I not right", and if you ever said no then I would be in bigger trouble. When I used to get my butt whooped I would give out some fake cries just to get her to stop cause I had better things to do. lol
YEP , AND THE ONE THING MINE NEVER SAID ? Wait till your daddy gets home ! to my mom ,he could have what was left !:Rofl
Was always going to knock me into the middle of next week. Never did. Now, Daddy would get er done.
If I wernt getting bit by the dog which happened about every day. I was getting whooped for getting bit by the dog.Mom said "Go get a switch off that bush", then she would do her thing and if there was anything left over then Dad took care of that! But you know, I never resented getting whooped and knew I had done wrong and I loved my parents all the more for it!
Yep my mother to a tee!!!! But my mom forgot she would be babysitting a lot and both turned out just like me and now she's eatin her words lol.
Wouldn't hurt for some of today's kids to learn those lessons. Ha
