I fish at night all the time with overhead lights do pretty good in the winter summer time is the best
On Monroe?
Haven't tried Monroe yet
Well, let us know if ya give it a run. If I was gonna try it I would prolly head to Smkehouse cove or mouth of Bethel creek.
I will thanks for the info
Last year I was going out and talked to a older guy fishing the light at the south end of highway 4 bridge, He said fishes at night all the time, he told me he had about 20 crappie at that time If this helps.
I would be interested in how ya do, I have tried it a few times(not at Monroe) but always caught more bugs than fish but sure beats the summer heat.
The only thing that bothers me is findin a secure night time parking spot near Sanford:hatchet:
The trick to the bugs is to put your lights close to the water and the bugs will help attrack crappie
thats the primary answer, finding a secure place to leave truck, trailer while fishing
at night - upon return being able to load with confidence that your not going to get
unwanted asistance .....concealed permit comes in handy, always fish with a partner
This heightens the need to be more aware of surroundings. This takes fun out of
fishing at night if you have to worry about whats on land when you return.
