Is there a good rod rack that mounts on the boat that keeps your rods tangle free?

Contact E-Z Poleholder on here. He makes a great pole holder.
Thank you for the tip!
These work like a charm for me depending on the length that you need you could always try to contact them and see what they can do for you! Stick Jacket™ - Tame The Tangle™ - Fishing Rod Covers
scotts rod sleaves are also good. Scott will make the length that you need.

Rod Sox - Socks for your Fishing Rods
Be a pain to put a rod sock on everytime you move.
Stand your rod straight up, put jig in hook keeper, grab line around the second line guide from the reel, spin the rod wrapping line around the rod until you can hook line around second line guide. Wrapping the line will cut out 90% of your tangled tips running place to place or trailering.CF
Attachment 185876I use Hi Tek rod holders and then put noodles around my double minnow (usually) rigs or jigs. No problems.
Thanks for the great ideas, now if I could a day off without rain I would like to fish instead of talking about it.... Haha!
Just made this the other day, fished the last to days and love it, come to fab some out of angled aluminum
Looks nice. It sure will get the job done. Angle will work just fine but I would get some door edge trim to put on them. Those edges will cause your Graphite poles to fracture if you happen to hit one just right on a sharp edge.
Looks good!
[GREAT IDEA on the pool noodles!!!! I use hair clippies that I buy at wal mart, but I might try the noodles![/QUOTE]. :biggrin

http://www.jmsonline.net/media/catal.../1/51744_1.jpgIf you boat walls/gunwales have the room and putting screwholes in your boat isnt a big deal...these are awesome...hold tight and keeps them up and away from other stuff. I love em. Just a thought.
I do my spider rigging from a G3 22 foot pontoon and lay my rods on the deck. I like the noodle idea. I currently use 1" pvc pipe about 4 ft long that works well and protects the rod tips.
