Thanks for the reply and link Rickie. Will this update fix the 200/83 issue that I was having not seeing blue fish ID while over brush pile? And what is this Jigging mode?

I haven't seen any posts on this new "Jiggin mode" except that sfw1960 (Robert) has verified that it does, indeed show up in the menu system after the update ...Quote:

I only install updates once a year. I will do it in the next couple of weeks and hope for the best. Since I'm adding a 360 I have to do the updates for the Bird. I haven't updated the touch in two years and will do it also.

Weird I have the 1199 and the update isn't available under my login. Still showing the 7.020 as latest.
Looks like it is only for the DI machines Tundah.
I did install the update just a big ago, will see if it helps.

I don't know why you don't have the update in your account. I know Robert (swf1960) got it for his 899........Maybe HB is putting the breaks on the release for some reason???

I have it installed on my 899ci HDSI and I also ran it last night amongst the sheets of ice!

I will likely post a PB album link and copy pics here as well as BBC, so people can see the shots I took , using chart speed 4 @ 1 MPH 200KHz, 200/83KHz and 83KHz - even a few on 200/83 with chart speed maxed @ 10 to qualify for the pixelation issue on SI units.

I pulled the CHO's off the boat today - so tonight or tomorrow I will try to get screen shots up of my 899 with Jiggin mode "on" - I ran it all last night like that. :kewl
Got the update done! Went smoothly. Now I just need to figure out what is new?!
The jigging mode appears to make the 2D better with less of the "pixelation" so many guys complained about - I ran my 899 for a few hours last Friday night in 32.4 degree water and it worked well, boxed 5 nice walleyes and let one porker close to 13 lbs go back.

I have 145 images uploaded to my PB account and didn't edit ANY of them.
Here's what the DI was doing while we were crunching ice on the TM & boat hull, I took one shot it said 32.1 degrees 2 feet under the surface, so that might actually be ice we're seeing here!

Not sure if that setting is "on" or off by default after update so I have to go out and try to take some snapshots to see. Went out last night but didn't notice anything different so tonight I will test it out and see. Thanks!

I am a little confused at the pictures you posted. Which ones have the jigging mode "ON" and which ones are "OFF"? I really can't tell the difference. What am I looking for?

my PB album shows only 2 shots where I turned "Jigging Mode" on & off - I ran it ON almost the whole time, and it is OFF by default.
You will have to go on a 2D view screen - press menu once and enable it.

This shot is disabled or OFF, can you see where there is more horizontal S T R E T C H in the to pic at the same exact chart speed??

If someone has the 360 and the "Jigging Mode" SI software ... I want to see if the 360 has been disabled to free up resources for the 2d ...
Someone post a split view 2d/360 with "Jiggin Mode" turned on ...
