Sardis tomorrow????

Need some advice from you locals. I have the entire day to fish tomorrow so I had a wild hair about maybe trying to get down to Sardis. I have only fished it one other time with someone else so I am not very knowledgeable of the lake. It will be a two and a half hour trip for me so I want to make sure I am prepared if I decided to head down. I looked at the weather and it looks like maybe light winds so that was a plus. I have a 1648 War Eagle boat with a 25hp Yamaha so I don't want to have to travel too far from the ramp if possible. First of all, does tomorrow look like a day that will be OK for my boat on the lake? And secondly, what area can I launch and not have to run too far to fish? I would likely be spider rigging since that is what I am comfortable with. Thanks in advance for the help

Me and mr goodtime will be there tomorrow. Put in at engineer. Not much water to choose from so that cuts out some guess work :)

I would suggest staying on the South side of the lake.:)

Will there be a spot close by to get minners? I can buy them here but hauling them that far without alot of casualties might be an issue! !

The dam store will be open at 6am.
Also you cant miss me at the ramp. Im 3ft tall driving an F350 gold cab red bed pullng a ranger 354v :)

It was nice to meet kdavid1 today, next time you see me I'll have tools in my truck. Sorry to hear you guys didn't put any fish in boat! I didn't have any luck either, not even one fish! It was still a lot better than going to work today.

Same to you (I had forgotten your name--sorry about that) that will teach me to clean my truck out lol. Hey at least the few of us that fished got our yearly skunk out of the way. :)

And thanks to the fellers in the dodge pickup that lent me the wrench.

Definitely was tough out there today. Wind was nice and calm and the DF graph looked like a Christmas tree with all the stuff on it....just none of it was very hungry I guess!!! At least we get an A for effort for hanging around in the rain for a while. After driving that far I was going to get my moneys worth!! Bonus was meeting you and Mr. Goodtime (forgetting names here too!). Nice to finally meet some folks from the site....hope to do it again soon.

Well blackish, how has the duck hunting been so far? I hunt in St Francis co. on the languille, no water, means no hunting for me. my worst year ever.
