I was wondering what happened. I just chalked it up to Christmas time. Tomorrow is my 64th birthday and anniversary. My bride and I are going downtown for a steak dinner and see the lights in Bricktown tonight to celebrate. Monday morning before daylight I have to head to Texoma to inspection a wastewater system, so tonight is the night.
Hey CG, next year you'll be able to get the senior lifetime fishing and hunting combo for $25 and never need to buy one again. I love it! I think fishing only is $15.
You guy probably already know it but, if you are a vet you can get VET printed on your drivers license which is good for a discout at a LOT of places in the state! If you are 65 or over they don't even charge to get a new license with it on it. Just take your DD214, they know what to do.
That wind had a bite at Blackwell today. And that was about the only bite that was happening.

I'd have stayed home and eaten leftovers, but four days without fishing had almost caused withdrawal symptoms. I'll bet CP and NIP weren't serious about fishing, but were only trying out their foul weather gear in preparation for Hugo.

CrapAlicious me and Robert aka wister slab daddy were in the camouflaged aluminum boat fishing by dstreet when you pulled up to talk to him. Wish we would have said hello. We caught them pretty good late yesterday afternoon. I will holler at you when we get back up there.

Maybe everyone should put a CDC sticker on their boat to identify ourselves then no one is apprehensive about approaching a boat. Just a suggestion. I bet slab would donate a bunch of stickers for this

I fished today and it wasn't post worthy.
We were at our lake place for 12 days over Christmas (17th - 28th) -- never got to do any fishing. But we did have a fish fry Saturday night with some filets that were in the freezer from a few weeks ago (just not the same as fresh though). Heading back down Wednesday night after work and I hope to do a little fishing at the dock over New Years.
12 days on the lake and never wet a line? You have amazing willpower Toon- but there must be more to this story.
