Dont know as though I would wanna be there with 100 collegiate anglers in go fast boats running around on top of the out of state crwd at every campground and hotel on the lake and river. Place is gonna be a zoo.
I hear it's closed for the next 6 months.:biggrin:Rofl
Let them chase the green carp. I doubt they will be anywhere close to the bulk of the speck fishing and probably closer to the docks and shoreline then anywhere else.
Some advise: Get there and launched into the water "before" daylight. If your not in the water waiting for the sun to rise.............your inviting launch trouble. Get out there an hour before daylight........ or stay home. They are probably launching from Sunrise park...........avoid it........launch from the smaller public ramp EARLY, get a good parking spot...........get away from the docks............lights on....... motor out and ENJOY the rising sun, then navigate to your fishing spot :)
Still trying to figure out how they got the impression Crescent is a great bass fishery.......... but then again no point telling them guys anything, they have never show me much of a propensity to listen to anything a speck fisherman has to say anyways........... so best of luck to them, and good luck in landing more green carp then redfish :)
best of luck E!!!! hope you find a few!
PS. Dont be surprised if you see my rig parked in the lot...............Ill be the early bird.............probably already GONE :kewl
