You can't go wrong with a 1/8 and down size from there as needed.
Then of course you need some of these!! I have quite a few of these jig heads and will paint and tie them soon.

Liking the skull head jigs those are cool
75% of the time 1/8th
i probe a lot of brush and believe the 1/8th gives me a better feel. 2" power grubs are the bait of choice also. naturally if the fish told me to slow down the jig and bait would change.
lol those are pretty cool!:ThumbsUp
1/8 or 1/16 oz, love the skull head jigs.
Also use a lot of 3/32 and 3/16 oz!!
1/24 oz for me
I like the skull jig heads as well.
Use a lot of 1/32 and 1/64.. I just like to fish a light jig. STEVE
eighth works fine for me.
1/8oz all day for me!
3/32 is my favorite
1/16 is my goto size.
1/32 for vertical fishing and shooting docks. 1/24 and 1/16 for trolling.
My favorite is 1/32 and 1/16.
1/8 and 1/32:twocents
I have no clue but i sell hundreds of thousands of jigheads a year and 1 /16 is definatly #1 followed by 1/8 and 1/32,i personally use 1/16 unless i'm trolling and i go up to a 1/4.
If I had to pick just one it would be 1/16th. It just works well for me shallow or a lil deeper without having to rerig. Add a split shot above and it fishes well deep or in the wind. In the spring when fish are hunting something a bit bigger and most days are windy I like a 1/8th or maybe even a 1/4. A 1/32 1/24th or 1/64th rules the roost for me when dip fishing real shallow cover or bobber fishing in stained to clear water.
I'm a 1/24 guy
1/8 minnow head with a cicle hook from nimrod- 100 for about $11 shipped.... Can't beat them (personally).
1/16 oz my favorite on calm day, windy may go to 1/4 oz
1/16th for the water depth I fish. 10 to 20 feet.
1/24 for me to but aint scared to change
use 1/4 and 3/8 fishing deep 1/16 shallow and casting 1/16 weedless.
1/16 most of the time. 3/32 when casting in the wind.
1/32nd but will change it up when needed
Use several different sizes but 3/32 if I had to pick just one.
I like 1/32 or even 1/64 for the slow fall presentation. If conditions call for a heavier jig I will use them.
I can't narrow it down, I like the ones that are putting the fish in the boat today. I use everything from 1/32 to 3/8. Lately I have been using 1/4oz the most, them fishes down deep lately.
1/16 about 75 percent of the time
Mostly 1/8 but I use 1/4 oz too.
I like what ever they are hitting that day lol:Rofl
1/8 chub head
1/16 No Collar with Sickle Hook
1/16 round no collar #6 sickle hook
24th or 32nd
If had to choose one it would be 1/16
