Hadn't posted anything in a quite a while so figured I'd show up to say something since I finally had some time to go fishing. My freezer was in desperate need of some crappie fillets since it's been barren for a lot longer than I'd like or had been accustomed to seeing it. We had a beautiful day on the water although the winds were a little higher than had been forecasted. Fishing today was pretty much what it has been looking at the recent postings. I pretty much fished with the mini armada around 64 Bridge today got on the water just before 8am and had my limit by 2pm. I can't begin to emphasize how long it's been since I've been able to pull that off on Jordan. I caught fish everywhere from 24-30ft with best success near the bottom. Caught a lot of short fish and more than my share of perch too along with a 3-4 slabs that went around 14". The population overall looks healthy and most seem to be eating all the shad they can stand which is a good sign. I'm sure other crappie.com folks were in area as well just not sure I had the pleasure speaking to any today. There were a good number of fish caught today form what I could see and hope to see the trend continue thru the winter and into the spring . Gonna try and get back out this weekend if possible and try some other places of similar topographic interest and layout.
