sounds like you had a good day.
:Rofl ... let me guess : They're finally under the deep docks :banghead
In the last few years it seems like the normal behavior patterns have gone out the window at Watts Bar. Used to be that I could pretty much depend on them being where they ought to be, when they ought to be there. But, the last few years they seem to have developed new behavior patterns, which wouldn't be as frustrating as it is "IF" they would stay with those "new" patterns for more than a season.
Congrats on a good catch !!

Yeah, I know what you mean .... I've caught spawning fish 10ft deep in Whites Creek several times before, and this Fall caught them 30ft deep. This is my report from this Fall ... ( http://www.crappie.com/crappie/kentu...p/#post2817405 )
Used to wear'em out at Caney bridge, but after a few lean years I worked my way down the lake. I've fished all those areas you mention, at various times over the last 20yrs or so. But, being it's a 4hr drive just to get there from here, my long weekend trips have always been in April & Oct/Nov. and I've spent most of that time fishing the Whites Creek area. With only a couple of days to fish, I've spent more time fishing places I know fairly well, rather than looking for new places.
