Went and fished both thoroughly today.....no luck at either !
Low quality! Maybe it will get better.
I hope so cause I'm looking forward to catching a couple atleast. Lol
Wait till it's 25-35 degrees a couple nights in a row . Burr !:popcorn
Trying again this weekend been catching white bass still but haven't seen any keeper crappie come out. Think people are snagging down here.
Couple of my students told me they have both put around 150 in the freezer over the last couple of weeks, snagging at the Grenada spillway. Take that for what it is worth.
must be happening at Grenada because the banks were lined up yesterday.
Haven't been since last week. May try em again at Sardis Monday morning. Any luck there ? Last weekend it was rainy and cold didn't even land a white bass so I knew it was rough.
The "ONe Fish Wonder" has been posting the same picture of one fish he caught this past week, at Nader tho.
Lol
It's time, boys and girls!!!!
Chilly it has gotten ! Better go by wal mart and grab some hand warmers for the gloves.
Bout 40 folks lined up down there 30 minutes ago, I'd say its on!!
Catching them that easy or what rees
Didnt stop but when that many are down there with a 25 degree temps they aint just shooting the bull.
Maybe the 2nd guy saw the 1st guy and the 3rd guy saw the 1st and 2nd guy and the 4th guy saw the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd guy and before you know it 40 guys are all lined up freezing their $$%^%$ off wondering where the fish are. Because they all thought the other guy was catching em.
Hajaha!!!!
Lol not quite as logic when it's this cold.
Grenada Enid or Sardis ?
Was the local Banker out there?
Talked to a buddy this afternoon that said he had 11 last night.
Figured nothing was at Sardis. Wonder why there's no crappie action there hardly ?
Wonder if its relative to the numbers caught this summer????? Makes sense dont it?
Never really happened last year either..... I have no clue why.
Caught a lot of throw backs at Enid last fall that will be keepers in two to three years. Very few keepers. At Sardis I had a few good days but most of the fish I caught were keeper fish. Had very few throw backs of any size. Doesn't look too promising on either lake this year. But, I've been wrong before. Hope this is one of them. On Enid in 2011 we were catching seventy to a hundred fish a day and keeping five to seven. I think that is what I'm looking at this year. That said, someone will always find a hotspot that may only be good that day and fill a cooler.
Very true fellas !
Saw a pic of some GOOD fish that came out of the spillway this weekend. They only caught 9, but a few were BIG.
When they were letting water out last week me and a couple buddies where killing them at Enid and some hawgs where coming out..Too bad they messed it up for now Attachment 186045Attachment 186046
