I am thankful my wife understands my needs for the outdoors & very thankful I have the chance to be able to fish the St. Johns & connecting waters.
We started out early Thanksgiving mornin at Harney, it was windy but worth the effort for the quality fish.

Here's the canadian crappie catcher holdin 'em, he comes down every year from Canada & fishes with me from Sept to Dec. Why he goes back north in Dec is beyond me but Slab may know:Rofl

We started north of the island & caught a few nice fish, then ran to the north end & caught a 24" red fish. What a fight that fish gave on a 12' rod, man it was a blast but caused some tangles.
