On the water, Put in at Twin Bridges, fished Brush in 25 f. o. w. and the fish were on top of the brush in 15 f. o. w. Drop the purple and chartreuse Slabbuster to the top of the brush and raise up the rod, not reel up , just raise up the rod and pow they was in the mood to feed, caught mabye 17 or 15 and 12 keepers 5 big ole black crappie... good day for sure....

Im hearing more and more vertical fishing and just raising the rod instead of a slow reel. Good to get that thumb on

I caught a 16 inch walleye on Stockton earlier in the spring on a road-runner. That was a pleasant surprise!
Lots of Walley on Stockton, when I troll cranks in the spring I pick up several, and in the winter there are lots caught up close to Orlens trail cove, eagle island is also good, and Hawker point is a favorite of several, as is Masters area up the Little Sac river, Turnback can be awesome in the summer. I usually toss them back, not much of a walley fisherman,,,,, but some like it.
