Thats a good deal. The only real difference between the 30 in. and 40 in....besides 10 inches in height is....the thirty has 4 racks and the 40 has 5 racks.....4 racks will hold enough food for a lot of folks.Quote:

I like to cook whole beef briskets, no way you can get that on a 30".
The 30 in. is 17 in wide....I cook baby backs with out cutting them in half.....I put them angled corner to corner on a rack. Chris....how much wider is a 40 inch ?Quote:

Good thing I listen (sometimes) when Debbie talks. She asked if I was going to BPS for black friday. Yes, I have a few items to buy. Well buy this, the 30" model for $79.97. During our fall break camp with the grandkids we had 6 full ribs and a picnic going. If it don't fit flat, it will cook rolled up.

We've been talking about getting the electric smoker for several months now, especially with the great reviews and pics here. The propane has served us pretty well , but it's rusting out. Sam's had this one for $300 so we decided to make it an early Christmas present to ourselves. Can't wait to use it!
