Low and slow... Use a small 1/16 or 1/32 jig in orange or chartreuse, and a small white and chartreuse Stinger or Midsouth tube. Fish the stumps and trees on the edge of the channel just off the bottom(10-12ft.) You might have to let it sit still for a minute or two before they bite, so dont get in a hurry. Also, jig the brush piles, there are many. Again, the ones on the edge of the channel are best. I like to move a lot, fish a spot and pick off the active ones, usually two or three, then move on. Give it thirty minutes or so and come back and get a few more. Some people tie up on a spot and that works ok, but not as good IMO. I can go catch a few more on another spot while they are waiting for theirs to re-load. You can try jigging the bridge pilings, but I always do better on the wood. Good luck!!
thanks for the advice. will let you know tonight if I do any good.

My advice is dress warm!:fish
dress warm and wait for your post when you get back.
wow, fished bout 4 hours, 7 keepers, 2 - 13 inchers. cold, but not unbearable. fished the bridge piers mainly - tending about 15-20 minutes without moving, then changed spots. going again tomorrow. what about the area around Adams lake???
