Made this gauge to amuse myself. It is more accurate than the weather channel. Temperature is measured at near surface by my sonar.

Pretty neat Tom.
Good job Mr. Tom
very good Tom
These are averages of depths over about 20 years. The extremes were omitted. This is a "good as any" depth/temp chart. It should be fairly accurate as a starting off reference.
Good idea and execution Tom. I always get asked where to begin, this is a good go to for an answer
Pretty cool
Neat tool there.
Thank you. As a rookie, I'll take all the help I can get....
That scale only good for type of lake you set it up on. Some of our shallow lakes it can be completely different. We catch fish deep in winter and shallow in 90 degree water as oxygen content bottoms out here. Thanks for a cool post!
Wow! That's incredible information and a genius way of showing it! Kudos to Cane Pole for outstanding ingenuity and a heart to share :ThumbsUp As you put it I'll use it as a, "fairly accurate as a starting off reference". Thank you
Nice!
Do you think this is a good reference for all species of fish (I mainly fish for large/smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill)? Or just crappie?
These species cohabit some in the late winter early spring, but the man with the big mouth rules the roost.
Bookmarked for later use. Thank you!
Thats pretty Cool!
