clinton, ice free mostly.some ice in the backs of coves.however the ramps are pulled at #2 #3. #1 is good to go! I have not been to #4 or #5 for a while
Yesterday most Melvern ramps good. Ice in most coves had to chip ice to fish off the docks. Fishing slow caught a couple a fish had some given to me so had a mess to eat.
Anyone know if any ramps open on perry or clinton? Been awile since I've been out (had a little boy a couple weeks ago).
Marion ressevor had from 6" to 3ft of ice sheets pushed into the dam on the first.
I fished El Dorado yesterday in Satchel Creek arm and it was 5-6 inches in there. Caught one small white perch and 1 crappie that was right at 10". A few other lookers, but no takers. With the weekend warm up coming, looks like our ice fishing season will be coming to an end unfortunately. Be safe out there.
Clinton was iced over 3-6 inches on1-10

Anywhere to get tight lines at Hillsdale without a boat this weekend. Can't stand the heated dock. Water around the bridge piers clear? Hoping the channel melts it away
might check some of the coves might be drillin some holes to fish through??
may be some open water below dam??
Went to Hillsdale to take a look yesterday. No open water at dam or coves. Letting out .2" water per day, so guys at the heated dock say fishing has shut down. Guys at the spillway said it was slow too. Fun to hear all the ice cracking though... It won't be long!
Any ice reports for Milford?
As of yesterday Milford still iced over except for some area's that geese have been using. There is some puddles forming on the surface of the ice also.Quote:

As of noon on Sunday, all ramps at Melvern still are iced in. Large amount of open water in middle of lake. All coves still ice covered. More ice from Turkey Creek West to Sundance

Same report on Perry more open water than yesterday.
As of yesterday evening all ramps iced in at Melvern, someone tried to put in at the Marina ramp and Arrowrock ramp did not make it. Main lake open but ice still holding on from Turkey Creek ramp cove West to Sundance.
Checked on Pomona yesterday (21st). Still mostly ice. Did appear 110 mile ramp was open from the ramp and along the bank to the point south of the ramp (observed from Adams Grove ramp). Looked fishable if you want to drive on gravel to get to the ramp. Does anyone have an icebreaker attachment for a boat for sale?
Thanx Pa, I have put in there before in exact conditions in past years and had to brake ice to fish so sounds like I will be giving it a shot Friday morn. Wish me luck! Hope to let u's know.
Did anyone try to put in at Melvern or Pomona today? Would like to make a trip Saturday but Pomona is over 100 miles south of and Melvern is further. Would hate to make a trip to look at a frozen ramp.
Just got back from Pomona. It's a no go and will be awhile before we can put a boat in.
Went to Pamona, 110 steep ramp and all others, nope. Melvern same thing, and I am not above brakeing 2 in or so ice, hoping to be on a local water by first to mid week. Makes me mad!!
Melvern Arrowrock ramp is partially open you should be able to get to main lake without problems. Marina ramp still no go. Ice still hanging on from Turkey Creek ramp cove then to the West.
Did not check state park ramps.
