Great post. X3 on the Escalade
Thanks
Great story and it reminds me how lucky I am to still be able to take an old friend who is a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge out a few times a year. He thinks I am doing him a favor but he doesn't realize how lucky I think I am to spend time with him. There aren't many of these men left.
I had blurred vision toward the end.
Thanks Speaks Volumes
Thanks for that heart warming story!I have the greatest of respect for all the members of our Armed Forces, past and present!
:ThumbsUp Beautifully Said :ThumbsUp
Semper Fi my friend.
I was not a marine, u.s. navy veteran. Last April I was in a hospital for some repair work and there with me was a Pearl Harbor survivor. Like you said Tim, there aren't many of these men left.
Great story hope the Escalade gets repossessed ! What a jackleg.
GREAT
i was not in the service but my dad and stepdad both served in WW11 and my stepdad in Korea also and my older brother in Vietnam. what is so touching is that none of the 3 talked about the wars they fought but they all talked about their Buddies they fought with. God Bless our Armed Forces.
