Great day on Henderson

The wind made fishing a little tough Sunday in Henderson but my Daughter and I still gave it a shot. Ended up with five keepers and threw back three bass. But the best part of the day was when I rigged her up with a hair jig and cast it out into the wind for her. She was having trouble finding her cork so I looked up and couldn't find it either. I told her to lift up on the pole and as she did this we realized where he cork was as this really nice fish (one she is holding in the pic) began running the drag on her reel. Her reaction is one that I will not soon forget!

Good report....did you get there around mid-afternoon.....when I was leaving around 3 seems like I saw you at the launch.....

Oh she is hooked! Once I got the boat on the trailer and climbed into the truck she looked at me and said "boy I hope the weather's okay next weekend"! That told me to just plan for a fishin partner next weather opening!!

I told my daughter as we were pulling up to the launch and saw the "crappie.com" stickers on the boat and motor, I'll bet that is the guy that goes by "prefers shiners". We got to the launch about 9:30 to head out and returned about 3:30 to head home, so yes I do believe. I will certainly be sure to introduce myself next time. BTW, how do I get the crappie.com decal?

I love to fish with a cork. But it seems everytime I turn my head to look at something, when I look back, the cork is gone.
