Got out and did some crappie fishin today. Lake was a little breezy but there's lots of places to fish out of the wind. South facing shores were alright. Found some brush, put the bait in their face and they were hungry. Lots of good size too.

Nice pic Smitty. Really looks peaceful. That's part of the fishing experience just to be able to get out somewhere peaceful and relax. At least it is for me. It helps if I catch a fish once and awhile too. I fished Monday at a lake near home. It was a slow day, but I managed to catch some bass and a couple keeper crappies and perch. Might be a little while before the boat will see water.
