Forgot the pics ha ha
Looking good on both counts.
Thnx Roger, I thought they turned out good.
Told ya that you'd like the boo! Man those look great. You might want to drop 3-4 of those together real close almost on top of each other when you put them in. So where did you find those 24 fish you were hiding last week? Lol
looks good they should hold a few crops
I found a cove that's holding fish at 25 fow . I'm gonna drop em all there.:ThumbsUp
Looking good. bambo is the way to go.
Hope the Bambo does the trick.
Are those some additional sugarberry bushes I see in the background?
Looks good be sure to post them waypoints for us lol.
Just head due west till u reach the east side of lake then fish around the ole oak tree....... Bawhahaha shoot just head this way one afternoon well cook a bite then fish the next morning and you'll know firsthand where there at!:ThumbsUp
I'm done for the year but I would love to get with you next spring. I've been wanting to fish Martin for years.going to try to make the camp in April would like to get a look at the lake before April
Caught some stripes and spots on my bamboo but no crappie yet. Hope they will come in in the spring.....
What do y'all look for to drop your trees? My trees on channel edges just don't produce but the ones in the middle of an empty flat produce better. Seems they'd relate to the ones on the edges of a channel or small creek
These are on a flat 20-30 fow according to time of year being our lake drops 10 ft in winter
Do you secure the bamboo in the bucket with wire or something before putting in cement.
I mix 1/3 bucket of concrete, place the bambo in then finish filling bucket with concrete. Does that make sense?
Fish look good. So do the condos.
Yea, was just wondering if the bamboo works it's self free from the bucket. Was thinking you might have to drill holes in bamboo and stick wire thru it to make sure it didn't work free. Much easier if you don't need it. Have a friend with a bamboo invasion problem so was thinking about doing this.
99 that boo is as good as it gets! A small nail would stop that from happening if you put it down in the cement. My experience is that as long as a joint is below the top of the cement it's not coming out. Anyone else have ideas on this?
Trust me if you fill the bucket with concrete and run the bamboo to the bottom it's there..... We toted them by the bambo and it did not budge.
