Doc don't you find it amazing how big a fish that little bitty jig will catch. I mean to me it does not look even big enough to be an appetizer for a two lbs or better fish, but man do they ever clobber it.

Way to go guys. Congratulations! I haven't been to Bistineau since about this time last year. Is it still pulled down or did it fill back up?

sweet, I was wanting to go over...may be a few weeks until I go there. Thanks for the report, y'all done good!

Nice catch Mark and John! I caught plenty on the grey ghost at Darbonne but none of those were big enough to keep. Thanks for the report and picture.
-
I'd take dat any day. Nice catch.

Saw a truck at the port with a big Crappie.com sticker in the back window when I left about 12. Musta been you...let me know next time you hit Bistineau... like to meet up someday.

Awesome catch...might head out there this weekend or next Tuesday. Does everyone launch out of the State Park or is there another preferred ramp somewhere? I've always gone to the park with the family so that's the only one I know of.

I think everyone mainly launches at port o bistineau. it is at the end of yellow pine road just south of sibley. but when the fish are biting you better get there early. it will be packed. but the great thing is that most everyone fishes within eye shot of the launch. I would be a little skeptical to run the lake with it down like it is.
