Was on water by 8:30. A few in the honey hole than moved on to a secondary about 15' deep.
There they were thumping it...
Had a limit by noon of good ones... Despite the freezing cold.
Water temp 63
Even got a couple kickers an 11 and 12" er.

Sweet!
You deserved a limit if you were out there at 8:30 am. Did you fish your new brush pile yet? Missouri weather, sweating and shorts one weekend, insulate coverals on the next weekend. I am hoping to get down there next weekend.
Tried too nothing hanging out...
Think I need to add a few more around it.....
Glad your finding them. Thanks for the posts.
Missed out this weekend, love the fall bite.Congrats on the fish.
Was out by 7 this morn and in by 9
With a heavy limit...
Cold front seemed to have no effect on the big ones.
Are you catching any black crappie? Were you using jigs only or are you still using minnows? Congrats on the fat limit.
No blacks yet...
Using orange jig and minnows together.
Caught a few on just jig and niblets.
15' of water fish were on bottom.
sweet where were at on the loz?
Nice job on a good couple of days fishing.
All the fish we caught on Truman today were shallow.
I talked to a guy bass fishing around me and he said his son and him caught them yesterday around laydowns in 4 to 5 feet. They were using corks and minnows.
I wanted to give it a try but I couldn't leave a good bite to see if I could make it happen.
It very well could of been true.
When the water gets in the 50's I'd imagine they will stack up right under docks and that slip corking will be killer
Good work on some nice fish.....don't know what cold windy days does to the big-uns but I like it.
