All that is needed to perpetuate the crappie population in Jordan Lake is a 2 pole per fisherman limit. And maybe outlaw minnows and rod holders. :Rofl

South Carolina had a two pole limit years ago. Wonder if they still have it?
Im not for the two pole limit. I think the people that fish with 10, 12 , 16 or more rods deserve the pain of having them all tangled at once. LOL
Your hired. That would be a good job for you to enforce . Can we call you officer nominnowtwopole.
I don't understand the whole "equipment limit " Isn't a limit of fish a limit no matter how many rods one chooses to use?
Course I have never spider rigged............ there is no doubt with my luck it would end up being a genuine cluster.
I'm against a 2 rod limit, I fish with 1 rod! But If I want to spider rig, I want to be able too, That is not the answer, a limit is a limit no matter how you catch them.
Two poles,(no rods) no minnows, and no boats might just "SAVE" Jordan from them fish catching fools!!:peacesmile
Just stop catching crappie from Jordan and in three years it will be OVER STOCKED like some other lakes near by and then you can catch all you want but none will be over 8". Just my two cents
Hey guys been a long time since I have posted talking about rod limits size limits on jordon crappie, most of the time I fish 4 to 10 rods depending on conditions and how the fish are acting went two weeks ago with my father in
law caught about 30 with 20 keepers all went back in the lake I practice catch and release most of the time however I do k eep fish from time to time thats up to the anglers to decide the state allows 20 fish per day per angler but we need to ask ourselves do we need to keep that many every time we go don"t think rod limits are the way to go have a buddy that can catch that many with a single rod
Closing this one, nobody seems to get that Chief was joking. Well maybe not about the minnows.
