It's still comin down in Lexington...............I don't beleive the weatherman mentioned it.
I seen a weather forecast that called for this to happen early in the week and the weather man said "no way was this going to happen'' :dono gUESS HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HIS WAS TALKING ABOUT :popcorn
I've said it for years............We can put a man on the moon in 1969, But can't forecast the weather with any confidence ( unless it's 90% plus of anything )
My son and his best friend went to Chesterfield last night to hunt this morning and said it was miserable there they were soaked sitting in the stands. Good thing was they both got deer and are on the way home now. I guess it was worth it to sit in the rain. I wish we had snow and not all the rain we got up here in Rock Hill. Well we will have it before you know it. Stay dry and warm everybody! You to Uncle Remus!rotfl
In the days before time.. the few times we'd get 8-12 inches of snow we'd go out and track rabbits till the went to ground then chase them out of the hole( convert) and grab them by hand. I lot easier when I finally got a Beagle to do all the running. I can't imagine doing that now, way too old for that much running around, great fun when you are 10-12 years old
Rabbit hunting in the snow, great memories of some great hunts but my toes still get cold just thinking about it!! That was back when you could hunt anywhere you wanted to and at times the land owner would come outside and hunt with you. The jack frost on many of the hunts would freeze you up to your ears.
And back then we didn't have Thinsulate just wool socks and leather gloves.
The cold weather gear is so much better than back then.
Well I had the good sense to go visit my son and his family in Atlanta and missed all this mess. Was sunny and clear when we got in today around 4PM. :ThumbsUp
