HENDERSON 10/27/2014........The barrel is getting bigger and so are the fish!!!!!!

Fished a couple hours lastnight did pretty good water is on a rise!! Kept 14 sacalait and 1 barfish/white bass whatever its called threw back 15 - 18 fish that were all 9 to 10 inchesAttachment 177679 Attachment 177678 Attachment 177680

well Sac-a-lait D.A. you can ask some of the members here that i have met i do not have small hands at all the fish were really big!!! i didnt keep any small ones threw back a bunch of 9 to 10 inch fish because i didnt want to clean them!! the big ones are biting pretty good right now i went for about a hour yesterday and caught 11 had a buddy out there that fished from 1:30 till dark he had 40+ fish all really really nice and has been averaging that just about every day when you find a pattern you can stick to it because they are all biting the same!!!

YES!!! The water is on a rise but its real slow. It has always been safe to navigate and as of right now basin landing is fine they can launch anything from a 20+ foot bass boat down to a little flat all you have to do is stay in the main channels and you will be fine i have been fishing the phillips,fourdouche,5 point just about anywhere but stuff like the pits and butte la rose canal are shallow

DA....I think the public launch under the interstate is closed until around the end of November....they are launching at Basin Landing on the south end of the lake.....go thru Henderson to get there.....I am looking for a break in the wind and rain to go myself.....
