Trying out pushing cranks, my rods are to limber for the 3-4 oz weights . Wanted to know what you all use.

I use BnM PST's
B&M PST's
PST's
How are the pst for spider rigging ?
Southern Crappie Rods 12 &14 footers.
I'm wanting the stoutest one out there. I'm pushing 1.2-1.8 mph. ADHD got to keep moving lol hence the Go in Gobob
I talked to Ed Dukes the other day. He told me those big weights are to much for the SouthernCrappie rods. You won't break the tip but to much bow in them for pushing. PST's will work fine and make a good Rigging pole if your looking for dual purpose rod's. If wanting straight pushing poles get some of those poles SCOTTV uses from Grizzly jig. They are bigger, heavier composite rods but inexpensive and tough.
guber get what scott v has
PST's. they work just fine for spider rigging also. I've used them for both for a lot of years now.
Scott V what you using for pushing ?
Firecast glass rods
Pick up an 8 ft tuna rod. They don't bend.
Titeline Special.
For pushing I use 12' Bass Pro Tightline Specials. They're too stiff for spider rigging but great for pushing cranks with the 3 or 4 oz weights. The fiberglass Firecast rods I spider rig with have too light of a tip for pushing. Any fairly stiff rod will work good for pushing cranks. The Okuma trolling rods in the 8 ft length do good but I switched to the 12 ft Tightline Specials to get the baits a little farther from the boat.
Wally Marshalls are a good heavy duty poles for heavy weights but they are expensive but they are a very good rod for pulling or pushing cranks! !!!!!!
Ok thanks gents. I just ordered the green stick and the hydraulics just need a tail rope now lol thanks Scott I'll check them out
