I bought a used one and have spent about $800 getting it fixed overall. Save up and buy new IMHO
Wharever DD, one of em had been in the water 3 times.
DD's has too---since he got it :)
Go over to Mikes and eat some bbq and you will feel better lol....that stuff is awsum
ll I said was I had some crappy luck with the one I bought. Don't wish that kinda luck on anyone.
Sorry to interrupt y'all's cat fight but I just noticed that you have a 112 Terrova on your boat. My uncle and I are trying to decide on what size motor we should go with and like you we have a very old boat. Have you had any problems with the nose flexing and wanting to rip off due to it being old and worn out or does it stay rigid? There aren't many folks running old boats with new terrova so I thought I may ask.
hehe
Now lets get back on focus please. More family friendly, less picking at each other. Don't need this snowballing into an all out mud wrestling match!
I wouldn't think you would have a problem with older boat. Main thing is inspect the area where you intend to mount motor. Is it fiberglass or aluminum? Does it have a plywood backing under it? Can you get to the mounting bolts under motor mount? If so you can always reinforce it with aluminum plate or plywood backer using stainless bolts, body washers and nylock nuts.
I bought a used 80# Terrova Ipilot from Rock Mike for my previous boat. It was like brand new and he only wanted about half of what a new one would cost!!!
That would be a good fund raiser lol
If we have a mud wrestling match can i go topless and can i wear my mask and my new pants ? Cause im in
ah, the night I caught and released bigfoot. Good times
there is a crack in the moon
Hmmmmm, never mind. [emoji51]
