It's made of 1/4" thick steel, braced with 1x2 square tubing and anchored with 7/8" bolts all around the perimeter. We have solid 2 foot chunk of concrete underneath.

Thanks guys, we are just trying to take some practical measures to protect ourselves. I've looked at a couple other shelters being installed in the area and am satisfied with what we have chosen.
should be required in all new homes in potential tornado territory. can't be that much more added to the cost of a new home to save a life or two.
