I'm between Greensboro and Winston and need to pick up 4 of the star bases, 3 pro 0 degree holders, and one 25 degree holder. Someone from Lexington had responded that they sold them down that way. Any help would be appreciated. TW

I bought the 0 degree holders at Basspro in Concord nc a few mo. ago I paid $15. A phone call could save a trip.
I have more Driftmaster in stock than BPS and much cheaper. I am also in Lexington. Give me a call at 336-249-6782 and we will fix you up. Website is Extreme Fishing Concepts
I will have some used ones for sale next week. 2 t bars, each with 4 0deg holders and 2 smaller t bars each with 2 0deg holders. I should have the star bases to go with each one. All of the T bars come with the longer stems. All Driftmaster
I am picking up a new boat tomorrow that has all of this included. I just need to make sure I am not going to need the ones I already have.
I am in the Durham area and would be happy to meet you somewhere. I will have more details in the next day or so.
PM me if you are interested.

Yadkin guide has everything ready to go! Great guys to buy from. They give back a lot to the community as well I can vouch for that personally!
N Charlotte dangerously close to bass pro shops
Ok. Got some bases and I'm ready to install. Brand new boat. The deck is not smooth for better traction. Question is whether anyone uses anything between the deck and the base to protect the deck?
Also, who uses screws and who uses bolts to mount their bases?
TW
Use stain steel screw or bolt it will not rust.
I've not had any trouble with screws, but make sure they are the right size. You want a screw with a enough diameter to get a good solid bite, and enough length to make sure it's not going to pull out or loosen over time. Might want to predrill the screw holes for large screws. And like Red said, definitely get stainless.
Bolts would be the preferred method, screws are ok if you have enough thickness to get a good bite( I'm thinking 3/4" thick fiberglass or wood backing). Use lock nuts so they don't loosen up over the years.
Spend the time now so you don't loose that big fish with a rod, reel and rod holder some day
I agree with the stainless
If you can get to the back of the bolts, the largest washer or some kind of a plate would offer even more support from pulling back out.
