don't want exact area, but where Jacks creek, beach creek, Chowning area?? just wondering about general area.
Hey guys I'm new to this site but was at tville 2 weeks ago fishing club tourney ( Central Ky Crappie Association) and caught 3 nice ones, 11.5 inches at jacks creek 25 ft water about 14-15 feet deep on hardwood. Hot day that day water temp was 76 degrees when we left. Fishing this weekend at nolin river lake anybody have any info on fishing there. Never been there just wondering where to fish general area would help, river, mid or dam end.
Main lake jigs fishing in 30-45 ft of water fish suspended 15-20 ft deep standing timber
water conditions? Water temps? Heading down next weekend Fri and Sat.

Bassky .... you can always call 1-502-477-8606 and get a water level & temp reading. Though, temp reading may not be current ... as I found out when I called today (temp reading was 68deg, but was taken on the 9th). Water level is a couple of inches below Summer Pool and rising slowly.Quote:

When I was there last Saturday the temps were 69 to 70 DEG.
Caught mine in deep water too, on jigs.
Lake was black from turn over near Settlers trace,
seemed to clear up about midways up toward Chowning Ln ramp

Any luck lately? I haven't bben able to go since July cause work. Hope to get out soon though even though I read where the lake turned over.
Caught 12 keeps this past sat. Front and pulling lake made it tough gonna go again next tues. they are moving up
Fished Taylorsville yesterday, (Thursday 23rd)
lake still recovering from turn-over, still kind of black at Settlers Trace
but looked good almost half ways to Chowning Ln.
Surface was 64 deg.
We caught some nice fish but they were scattered,
could only get one or two at any location.
Still mostly out in water more than 20 ft deep.
Caught on jigs & minnows equally.

Fished taylorsville today had 14 keepers 10&11 inchers all on jigs 15-32 fow . Got rough today be glad when weather stabilizes!! Water temp 63 when I left at 1:00.good fishing and be safe
