How to clean a crappie
My two girls have fished with me from the time they could walk. Both girls have fished in major walleye tournaments and crappie tournaments as well. Fishing has stuck with them as they are now 18 and 16 years old. Last night my youngest Ashley and I went out to El Dorado Lake and caught some nice fish. When we got home, she grabbed the knife and said, "it's time I learn how to clean fish by myself". Such a proud moment for a father! She did well for her first time and I hope she keeps with it. We fish a lot but we rarely bring fish home to clean. Maybe if she cleans them now, I will start keeping them.
By the way, here is her 15.5 inch crappie. She has caught several 14 inchers but never this big. I think it's time for a replica mount to be hung on the wall.
