You can catch them on a Arkie crankbait
Good pic, good luck, watch out for Bigfeets
Try the number 223 from the ScottyV collection, should contrast well against that moon!
Sunrise pic.

Good pics man, watched the eclipse, was pretty cool.
Great pics. Couldn't see it here at the house.

Tear em up!
I was wandering if the fog was getting bad there. I've traveled all the way to south MS this morning in itAttachment 175719
It's just now starting to clear up. That blood moon must have driven the crappie to the bottom. I'm running my cranks 60 to 70 ft back on 15 ft flats. We've kept 10 so far. I've caught several on an Arkie and a 1/2 oz trolling weight rig running it 70 ft back.
The Arkie with the 1/2 oz trolling rig strikes again.

A charter Capt friend of mine commented this morning that he wasn't too optimistic about having a good catch today.

We wound up with 20, had a pretty good morning.
Didn't bite much for me...
Maybe not an eclipse but caught a couple out of a sunken 72 ford once.
Ha Ha, there used to be an underwater hump about 75 ft out from Collinsville Landing at Okatibbee. Lots of fish had been caught off of it over the years. Well, several years ago we had some very low water and somebody noticed the tip of a radio antenna sticking out of the water. The hump fish attractor wound up being a Ford Mustang and if I remember right, there were human remains in it.
baited hole... they don't count.
